Excuse the dust

New look, new features, easier to use!

So, during my free time, I've been hard at work re-working my website. Originally it was just going to be a facelift, but before I knew it, most of the code for the website had changed. Thus, a brandy-new website.

My new website is a little more bot-proof with the added re-captcha thing on the registration page. I also moved to a "professional" web hosting company (1&1), so now my website can send out emails too, which was a major drawback to hosting it myself. Another new feature is the friendly looking urls, which seems to be a hot thing these days, so I hopped on the bandwagon.

Coming soon though I hope to be able to allow users to login with thier Facebook or Twitter account, and include some other social-networking features. I'd also like to be able to grab posts directly from the playstation forums and post it here almost as if it came from here.

Anyway, welcome :)

New Countdown

You can now put a live countdown on your own image! All you have to do is upload your image, and then you can choose a font, color and location for the countdown. You can also choose the date to make it countdown to.

The whole process is broken down into several steps. This was only created as a sort of weekend project to kill time, so it is a bit crude, and perhaps buggy, but I think it works. More features and coolness may be added later depending on the demand and popularity of it.

This was created in response to a couple of people asking for the script for my PS3 countdown, or for other similar custom countdown timers. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me... or add a comment to this posting.

Please let me know what you think, and don't be afraid to spread the word ;)

Underneath "help", there is a link to reset your work, and a link to an example "completed" image.

Edit 8-7-06 3:42am: *NEW FEATURE*
Now you can save images you have created! What does this mean?
With saved images, you now get a short URL, and can track how many views that image gets. This can also prevent users from "stealing" your image that you uploaded for thier own use.
You can also easily go back and make changes to the image without changing the URL.

Check it out!

New Domain!

So, I found a free .info domain... coreno.info. Looks strange when the domain is more than half as long as the domain name.

Might do more with it later when I have more time.
